| I THINK I CAN - Dick chugs along, imitating a steam locomotive. In a few days, he and Judy will be chugging along the highways on the way to Denver | ||||||||||||||||||
| STOPPING BY FOR A VISIT - Friday evening, Dick and Judy stopped by to visit with Charlotte and I, and of course we took them down to the railroad for a ride. | ||||||||||||||||||
| TAKING THE FAMILY ON A SUNDAY DRIVE - My cousin Dirk, his wife Chris, and their three boys came over from South Jersey for a ride on the Calvert Central. | I CAN DRIVE ABOUT ANYTHING - Dirk is a heavy equipment operator, every-thing from bulldozers to backhoes, but he never drove anything like this before! | |||||||||||||||||
| YOUNG DRIVER ON THE OLD GOOSE - Seven-year-old Adam can barely fit on the Galloping Goose, feet nowhere near the pedals, but he did just fine. | ||||||||||||||||||
| OUT ON THEIR OWN - The boys take the train for a spin without the grownups driving. On the last car is John, our nephew on Charlotte's side. | ||||||||||||||||||
| BEFORE - The shed doors are unpainted and there's an extra sign we don't need. | AFTER - Not a perfect color match, but better than plain plywood! | |||||||||||||||||
