The second frog point rail (left) is cut and filed, and both rails are mounted on the ties.

Here's the cuts I made before bending the rail, so the bend will be nice and sharp.

The closure rail is now bent and we are measuring its fit.

The other closure rail has been fitted and both of them srewed to the ties.

There's a lot of cutting and filing to do for the point rails.  I worked on one of them inside on the workbench with the TV blaring in the background.

The new point rail is being checked for fit.  It needs a little more filing, but we're well on the way!  It's getting late, 11:00 news is on, time to go to bed!
